About Us
GRDN Studio is a full-service landscape design studio located in Northern California’s Wine Country.
Specializing in plant-driven design, we create enduring landscapes that are functional, engaging, and ecologically attuned. Our designs draw from the surrounding environment to create living compositions that evolve throughout the seasons, and improve over time.
With over 35 years of collective experience designing and managing landscapes, we value a collaborative process – working closely with owners, architects, builders, interior designers, landscape architects, and engineers to create thoughtfully integrated spaces.
At GRDN Studio, we are committed to being stewards of the land, creating designs that are climate appropriate, fire resilient and gently integrated into the existing ecosystems - always striving to leave each place better than we found it. We believe landscapes are meant to be lived in and seek to create spaces that celebrate the unique character of each site, inspiring a sense of curiosity and exploration.
